Dr. Osman Presents at CEE Environmental Engineering Seminar

Dr. Osman shared his presentation titled “Towards Water Justice: Exploring the Effectiveness of Existing Tools and Frameworks” at the CEE269C Environmental Engineering Seminar on June 5th, 2023. In his talk, Dr. Osman explored the socio-technical dimensions of the provision of water and how to center justice in the decision-making process. Specifically, his talk covered two case studies: 1) the inclusion of drinking water in the federal Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool, and 2) examination of the drinking water system consolidations within the state of California to determine whether consolidation has sufficiently provided reliable drinking water to vulnerable communities.
