Embarking on a traNSFormational journey!

Osman Lab has received its first National Science Foundation grant! This project has an all-star team from across the country: Dr. Lu Liu and Dr. Joe Charbonnet of Iowa State University, Dr. Hong-Yi Li of University of Houston, and our own Dr. Osman. Titled “Collaborative Research: Assessing climate resilience of combined sewer systems and its impact on marginalized communities”, the team will develop an integrated modeling framework to assess the resilience of combined sewer systems using real-world data and apply quantitative-qualitative survey method to uncover the vulnerability of marginalized communities to future Combined Sewer Overflows incidents.
