The Osman Lab is all about breaking research out of the ivory tower and bringing it to the real world, and communication is a key part of that endeavor. A few months ago, we shared that Dr. Osman was selected to be a part of the 2024 SciComm Identities Project Fellows. The cohort had the opportunity to spend a week together in July learning how to communicate science to lay audiences in different forms, including news articles, podcasts, and interviews. They practiced telling their unique stories in research through writing, interviewing, recording, and storytelling.

When the Osman Lab finally becomes an Instagram celebrity (keep watching this space for updates!), we can proudly say it all started here!
